The Flying Lobster
The Flying Lobster started out as a LOC-IV X2 kit I used to get a Level 1 certification from the National Association for Rocketry.
Level 1
The rocket's retention harness broke on its first flight (shown on the left), but I repaired it in the field for a successful second launch, earning my Level 1 certification.
I made a few upgrades between my Level 1 and Level 2 certification flights, not least of which was a new paint job.
Level 2
The flight was successful and I recieved my Level 2 certification.
And according to my simulation, the rocket ascended over 4000 feet.
